Annoying shortcuts and complicated key combinations – that's a thing of the past! Build your own Macropad – a mini keyboard for your computer. Save the most important key combinations on your Macropad and use your programs more easily, quickly, or fun.

For example: Turn your microphone and camera on and off in your video conferences using the Macropad, or insert pre-written text into your emails with just one click. Make your creative work easier by quickly selecting different tools in Photoshop or effects in your DAW software with a single keystroke. Or use the Macropad for gaming and streaming with your most frequently used keyboard shortcuts.

On the first day, we'll assemble the hardware. We'll bring along different keycaps and switches that you can customize, and then we'll solder them together.

On the second day, we will focus on the heart of the Macropad—the Raspberry Pi Pico. We will program the pad with CircuitPython and customize the keys for your programs.

We will bring all the materials. All you need to bring on the second day is your own laptop.
